EuroVelo 3 Bike Route

The EuroVelo 3 or Pilgrims' Cycle Route crosses Western Europe, from Trondheim in Norway to Santiago de Compostela in Spain. The French section, also known as the "Scandibérique", stretches 1600 km from north to south and passes through 18 departments.

In the south of Seine et Marne, 

The EV3 runs along the Seine and then the Loing for almost 60 km. It offers the possibility of discovering the river and its tributaries, between classified forests and preserved natural areas.

Located in the immediate vicinity of this route, the Pays de Nemours Tourist Office was awarded the Accueil Vélo label in 2018.


The national Accueil Vélo mark is set up under the aegis of France Vélo Tourisme by local tourist organisations in order to provide the best possible welcome to cyclists throughout France. It guarantees a high quality welcome and services along cycle routes for cyclists on their way. Labelled establishments offer information and documentation, a warm welcome and facilities such as repair kits, air pumps and a nearby bike rack.
